Nest Thermostat air conditioning and Humidifier

Everything is working normally on my Nest Thermostat. With one exception. When I turn on the air conditioning, the Humidifier also energizes. I can run the Humidifier separately from the thermostat, and it works correctly during the heat season. Obviously you do not want to humidifier during the cooling season!

Hi there,

Thanks for the photo. I'm sorry for the delay. We're trying to see if your humidifier is programmed by your AC. To check it further, could you please provide the make and model of your AC and humidifier?

Best,
Jenelyn

The humidifier is an Aprilaire 568. The sensor for the aprilaire that is in the cold air return is not connected.

The air conditioner is a Trane TTB030-048C
