Nest Thermostat defaults to Heat Pump Aux Heat

Hi! I just installed my new Nest Thermostat and I think it mostly works I just think i have a bit of trouble matching the wires with their alternate names.

So what I had connected on my old therm was :

1.W2 / AUX

2.G
3.W / OB

4.C

5.Y

6.R

Most of them are exact match so no issue here. The only ones that puzzle me are W2 / AUX and W / OB. On my nest termostat I have a slot W and an OB. So do I understand that actually my W2 wire goes into W, and then my W goes into my OB? Sorry if it sounds really dumb! I say it mostly works because the system defaults to my Auxiliary Heat it seems (the heat pump's motors dont rotate outside as they normally do).

Thanks for your help.
