Nest Thermostat eill not Connect to WiFi

I have tried everything except unistalling the app.  I have a second home 1200 miles away I do not what to loose on the app.  I have factory reset thermo, when trying to connect if finds my wifi when I try to connect it says something went wrong.

Frustrated to no end.  Please help.

Same issue will not connect to the wifi. Also I did a full reset bc wires were not connected . Also I turned the nest to off before removing all power to reconnect wires. Everything has been reconnected the power is back on. The nest is operating off the batteries right now because the setup stage I am at will not connect to the wifi. Not sure if this is happening because I turned the nest off. Only messages I get sre continue setup through google home app which I am doing. Second it will not reconnect while going through the setup steps

I have the same issue. I'm working with Google nest support on Twitter and they helped me get a replacement thermostat. I've tried 2 refurbished nest thermostat, but neither will boot up. I'll keep working the issue. If you have Twitter you may want to contact Google nest support.

I shipped the second Nest back to Grapevine TX yesterday.
