Nest thermostat not cooling

jonsnow42

So nest thermostat was working pretty good up until about two weeks ago. I am in a very hot part of Florida and granted its been like 98 the past couple of days but when i come home from work my nest thermostat has gone up a couple degrees in temp. I leave it  at 70 when I go to work but when I come home its at 74 and takes forever to come back down to 70. The vents in the house are blowing cool air but the temp just wont seem to go down.

If your system is not cooling efficiently, this is not the cause of the Nest Thermostat.  You need a service if your system. Have the condenser coil cleaned and inspect the evaporator coil to see if it need to be cleaned. Verify the system is operating at the proper Sub-cooling and Super Heat.
