Nest Thermostat needs replacememt

Brand New. Arrived two days ago. Serial number in attached photo. Properly installed. Humidity will not read correctly (always at 0%) and temperature reading is always below settings (see screen shot). Please replace under warranty. Thanks.

Hi Dmoser,
 

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay.
 

Please give these steps a whirl:
 

  1. Remove your Nest Thermostat display from its base for about 5 seconds.
  2. Reattach the display.
  3. Wait for 10 seconds.
  4. After that, check if the issue persists.

1. The above steps didn't solve anything. 

2. The replies in this thread took too long. When the heater is not working, it needs product support right away.

 

I was able to google the answer that I needed right away. Basically, the base needs replacement. Dell company (supplier) was quick enough to replace the product and it is now working.  Problem solved. 

Sorry but this online service  is useless and only adds to the frustration. I hope Goggle Nest can do better in the future.
