Nest Thermostat periodically resets itself to 50°

My nest thermostat keeps resetting itself periodically to 50° even though I have turned off the location finder and the AI settings. All I want is for the thermostat to remain at the temperature I set it but I seem to have problems doing that. Any suggestions?

I apologize in advance if the following is not useful, as I'm not familiar with the terms "location finder" and "AI".

The problematic feature that our Nest (Learning model) has is called Home/Away Assist.  We keep it turned off, due to unsatisfactory behavior.  Might you have Home/Away Assist turned on?  Is 50 your Eco temperature?  If you don't want your Nest to pop into Eco mode, turning Home/Away Assist off might work.

Thanks but AI stood for artificial intelligence where the thermostat learns your patterns and adjusts the temperature accordingly. Our Home/Away is off as we don't want the thermostat tracking us.

I went into  Best Buy and they suggested I should ensure that the Google home app was had the same settings as the Nest app and it turns out there was one small discrepancy so I changed that and things seem to be working OK. The thermostat is not resetting itself and staying where we want it.

I thought the problem was fixed but its not. In the middle of the day we find the thermostat turned down 5 degrees and sometimes it is set at 50 degrees and we are stymied.
