Typical daily situation: the interior temp says 74.. I set the cool to 69- the nest now ( and always)says in 2Hrs. it’s a 2 level 2700 sf house so should it take that long to cool the house by only 5 degrees?? Sometimes the Nest will say it’s even warmer (75-76) than the initial 74. not sure why temp goes up a little before going down if I’ve set it to go to 69.

How is your Nest Thermostat wired?
What is the power reading of your thermostat? You could see this information by going to Settings > technical Info > Power.
