Nest Thermostat remote sensor compatible with Model GA02081-US

Our utility makes the Model GA02081-US available at a low price, and I was wondering if the remote thermostat sensor works with that model.

I think that model number corresponds to the "Nest Thermostat".  The remote temperature sensors require a "Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen" or a "Nest Thermostat E".
