Nest Thermostat with a Ruud HVAC

Hi All. Anyone have a link or video specifically for the Ruud name brand heat pumps? Ours won't engage the heating part.  Our service people believe its a problem with the wiring to the nest.

Thanks in advance.

Jake...I had almost forgotten I made this post. We have since pulled the nest and gone back with a very basic thermostat. I was not there and did not hear exactly what they told my wife, but we installed the nest during the summer...and the A/C portion worked really well..as the first cold night hit and we switched the nest to Heat or to Heat cool....it would kick on, but only blow ice cold air. When we removed the nest and went to basic thermostat...we work both ways now. I'd be lying to say this is the term they used but I think they said there was a problem at "switchback".  If you do know of a video for me to watch that would be for installing correctly for a RUUD HVAC system...I'm more than thankful for a link if you provide it.

I’d like the link as well. Same issue.

I had a similar issue. Nest would throw an error for aux wire e106 every time temp dropped to below 40 degrees. Very upsetting to go back to a basic thermostat as well. Im now left with a 200$ paperweight of a Nest thermostat.

Same issue. Only emergency heat works properly. The nest thermostat won’t engage the heat pump.
