Nest Thermostat won't connect to WPA3

I enabled WPA3 on my wifi setup (ATT-->Orbi) and all connected devices work  on my system except the Nest Thermostats and Protects.  How do I get them to connect?  Thanks.

I have the same issue.  Everything connects to my ATT-->Orbi switched to WPA3 except my Nest thermostats and camera. What do I need to do?

I'll go you one better. I have two nest thermostats on a WPA3 enabled nest WiFi pro mesh.

One connects, one doesn't.

Hi OCinAz,

I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: how far is your Nest Thermostat from the router? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near your thermostat? Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal.

If your Wi-Fi router is dual-band (supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals), your Nest Thermostat may connect to one band better than it connects to the other band, depending on your surroundings. Do you know which channel it was connected to?

Best,

Jenelyn
