Trying to log in, several attempts to reset pword, even tried to start over. Asks for QR code which doesn't exist on my older thermostat. Still works to cool home but can't control with my app like I used to since I changed phones. I'm in a circular cluster F of auto-communications. Help!

Sorry to hear about your experience but thanks for reaching out. I want to dig deeper into this.
A few questions — what specific Nest thermostat is this? Did you login to the your new phone's Nest app using the same email address you used to set up this thermostat? Also, did you reset first your thermostat before attempting to add it to your new phone's Nest app?
