Nest Thermostat

Love it, but I have to take off and charge.  Was wondering if anyone knew how long a charge lasts or any other options.  My old thermostat did not have any power to it only connection for heater.  I charged it for about 4 hours on Monday when put in and this morning it seems to need charging again.  Is there any place to see what charge is?

Hi Fran3,

Thanks for reaching out. Your Nest Thermostat should charge its battery automatically. I'd love to know more about what's happening and I have a few questions:

  • What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  • How is your Nest Thermostat wired?
  • What is the power reading of your Nest Thermostat?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward

Thanks for checking. Tech came back & was able to add electrical connection from heater to Nest. Working great.
