Nest Thermostat

I recently had to do a factory reset of my nest Thermostat. After I reset it I was setting it up through google home and it is asking me for a qr code or a 6 digit code. Neither are reflected on the device all the device says is "set up through google home". How do I get my device back up and running?

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I want to check if you are still in need of any help. If so, follow these steps: 

1. Remove your thermostat from the Google Home app.
   • Open the Google Home app.
   • Tap your Nest Thermostat.
   • Tap Settings > Remove device > Remove.
2. Set up your thermostat back on the app.
