How long has the thermostat been installed, and has this just started to happen? I would be suprised if the thermostat is the problem, do you have any motorised valves in the system? Are you on oil fuel?
Can you also check your Heat Link box. Please do the following..........make sure you just have the one green light on the Heat Link...............Turn the thermostat to call for heat, and back off, do you hear a click at the Heat link? Do the same for the water..........go to the settings and turn the water on for 30 mins, do you hear a click, then cancle, do you hear a click? You may need two people if far away.
We have to start somewhere if you can confirm the above.
