Nest Thermostats - What A POS SYSTEM THIS IS

I have a nest thermostat and a Nest E Thermostat - Each, separately, will connect to the app but once I try to connect the other one (BOTH) to the app it fails. For some idiotic monkey turd brained engineering - You can connect the first thermostat directly by using wifi...but when you go to set the second thermostat the system wants to use the 1st thermostat to connect to the 2nd new one to set it up and guess what IT WONT WORK! - DO not get this EXPENSIVE product if you plan on getting more than ONE thermostat. THIS IS A PIECE OF CRAP! ! ! !

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that these issues can be frustrating but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.

Best regards,
Garrett DS

Troubleshooting sets. Yes I have reset the device, I have updated the router's firmware - I have even disconnected the one that was connected and connected the one the wasnt only to not be able to reconnect the first one that was originally connected. So They will connect as singular thermostats but they will not connect together. Reason is that the device say's its using the previous connected thermostat to connect the second which is absolutely mind boggling - SO Yeah still a just a hunk of metal and plastic hanging on the wall - Using it manually but the whole point of these devices is so that we can use them with our smart phones. Smart phones dumb devices.

Why would it want to connect to another thermostat to assit with setup? Just use the Nest account from the website or anything else but the OTHER THERMOSTAT -

You no good Piece of S**8 - ALL you tech Richards could have easily just posted this info on the screen that says SD030 -- "Reset your Nest thermostat's WWN connection" - For Christ's Sake how hard is it to add a tip like that in addition to the error code... So yeah its fixed and connected now... NO THANKS TO YOU, RICHARD

"

How do I reset my WWN?

Reset your Nest thermostat's WWN connection

Tap your thermostat on the Nest app home screen, then tap Settings. Scroll down and select Remove thermostat. WWN Connection. Select Reset and confirm that you want to reset."
