Can anyone help? I have a w5 error code on my thermostat. Have tried following all the steps google list but still the same. What can I do?

Hi Hopidol45,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community. Since the steps didn't work on your end, I'd be happy to take a look into this for you. I need additional information from you that would be best shared privately. I’m sharing a link to a form for you to fill out so we can look into this further. This form is only meant for you to use, so let me know once you’re done.
Best,
Lance

Hello. Thank you. I ended up calling the UK helpline number to discuss the W5 fault. They were unable to resolve so have agreed to send me a replacement unit as the original was still under warranty

Thanks for your help so far. Google have now sent me a replacement thermostat and a replacement heat link. My question is do I actually need to replace the heat link?. From the brief descriptions I have seen online it looks like for the W5 error you only need to replace the thermostat. Is that right ?
