Hello,, We have 3 third generation nest thermostats at various locations in the house and all have worked fine for the last 3 years connected to our google home wifi. In the last day one (ironically next to a wifi point) has decided that it cannot connect to our wifi, I have turned our network off and restarted plus I have reset the Nest. All to no avail. It still cannot find the WiFi Network. We have not made any changes to the wifi and the other two are working fine. It feels as though this Nest has given up. Tried looking on Google, done everything that I can find there including this: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9243422. Any ideas please as to what I can try before it is confined to the scrap pile. PS if it is scrap three years does not feel like good value

How do you have all of the Nests wired?
Is there a zone controller installed?
Do you have C wires installed?

@Patrick_Caezza, thanks for the reply. Apologies but I am probably not going to be able to answer your questions. I am a consumer, someone fitted the nests three years ago. It is hard wired to heatlink. I have no idea what a zone controller is so we probably don't have one. I have no idea what C wires are. I know it worked fine for three years and now it does not. It will not connect to WI FI and can not find the network even though the Google access point is next to it. Thanks Mark

Hi Mark56,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand that your Google Nest Thermostat 3 Gen does not connect to WiFi. I know this can be frustrating, but don't worry, I'm here to help! I need to ask some probing questions to have a better understanding of the situation.
I’ll be awaiting for your response.
Regards,
Manuel
