Nest Won't Turn on AC

Works fine for heat but when trying to turn on AC, AC compressor starts then immediately turns off. Thermostat reports "delay."    This is the first time we have tried to cool as Nest installed during the winter.   Hearting works perfectly.

Sorry to hear about your Nest thermostat and for the delay but thanks for posting. I want to check on this further. 

A few questions — what type of Nest thermostat do you have?  When did your AC last work and what type of system do you have? Also, could you provide a summary of the steps you've already tried if you've tried some so we could pick up from where you've left off?
