Nest app not connecting with home app

The installation of my nest learning thermostat and connecting it to the nest app whent very easy but I can not find it in my home app and or can I connect  the nest app with the home app , it asks for my email and password but says  not correct and the  qr code does not work and neither  is the code,  can anybody helm me please

google eliminated the Nest app when they took over Nest.  good luck with that - send it back if you can.

I'm sorry to hear that you have lost access to your thermostat within the app, @KevinA. Let's sort this out.

 

  • If your thermostat displays "Connected to an account," there is no need to add it again. Please ensure that you're logged in with the same email address associated with your thermostat in the Google Home app. If so, check for other available structures where it might be connected. Here's your guide on how to switch home structures; let us know if you need more help.
