Nest app problem

Nest thermostat installed. I see it loaded on Google Home. But Nest App won't add product. This is my second Nest thermostat in the house.  Other one installed fine.

The nest app on workers with the Learning Thermostat.  If you have the basic Nest Thermostat, it only works with the Google Home App.

@Patterson27407, in addition to what was mentioned above. If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat, make sure that you are signed in with the same email address associated with your thermostat, so it will appear on the homepage. If so, check for other available structures where it might be installed.

So I have one Nest Learning Thermostat and one basic Nest Thermostat.  I understand that the Learning Thermostat will only show up on the Nest App. It would be great if Nest could change that.

@Patterson27407 , I am with you. The fact that the Nest Learning Thermostat can work with both the Google Home app and the Nest app. It seems to me it is marketing decision.
