There was a similar issue on here but no solutions posted. My nest that’s worked for 3+ years is suddenly showing orange at all times on my nest app and my wife’s nest app on a separate device. When I put it on eco mode it’s still orange, when I remove from eco and set heat setting below current setting it is orange and says heating. The nest seems to be functioning correctly and it isn’t actually heating. Tried powering down the nest and the app several time.

I'd like to further check on what's going on. Which Nest Thermostat are you using? Did you experience any Wi-Fi disconnection from your Nest Thermostat previously? Have you tried uninstalling the Nest app or Google Home app?
