This is NOT an new install - the system worked previous seasons. Is there something in the software that can cause it to trigger the system to blow hot on AC?
I had no issues last summer - this is NOT a new install, cooling worked fine.
I have TWO systems both with nest 3rd gen learning thermostats and heat pumps; one system for main floor and the other for the upstairs, only the upstairs is giving me issues
I swapped the thermostats and now I get cooling upstairs but not downstairs
Also I noticed a software update was pushed thru about 3 days ago.. unsure how often these happen.

Hello brothabman,
Thank you so much for posting in this community. I’m sorry to hear that your Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen) is blowing hot air in cooling mode, unlike the other thermostat of the same model that works fine in the same location. No worries; it's a pleasure to be able to assist you.
I'd like to ask you a few questions to gather more information about the situation and find the best way to fix it.
When was the last maintenance service and cleaning of your HVAC system?
Have you made a recent change to the HVAC system?
Is this the first time you’re calling for cooling this year?
Did you recently experience a brownout or blackout?
Could you please attach a picture of your wiring configuration from the thermostat's backplate?
Do you see a power error code on your thermostat?
I'll look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Daniel
