Nest thermostat can't conne t to the heat link, error h71. I did all steps possible even reset the heat link twice and it doesn't work.

My nest test maube it's trying to power up the heat link away from my home ? This is a very bad product that google shiuld stop selling it if this never works properly!

A system that's makes it impossible to install.

Hi,

The new one seems to be working now after I wire up to it base and factory reset both, hest link and thermostate. Once you connect the heat link wire with T1 and T2, it detect the heatb link so you can them change the option to wired and wireless option. After doing it, the thermostate is now working wireless again.
I spent few days trying with my old thermostate but it's definitely dead.

Google thermostate is good, but it doesn't last more than pass the warranty  though.

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear about your thermostat. I'll do my best to get this resolved for you. What color is the LED on your Heat Link?

I'm happy to hear it's working. The thermostats are designed to last as long as possible, but in a few cases they might lose functionality earlier. I'm going to lock this thread now, but should anything come up, feel free to open a new one.
