The app says my system is not compatable, but that doesn't make sense.  I have several installed at my other home.  Here is wiring photo.  Help?124 Wiring.jpg

Hi DanO1,

Thanks for reaching out. Your wiring looks like it would work. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

  • What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  • What is the make and model of your current thermostat?
  • What type of HVAC system do you have?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward

Hello DanO1,

I'm sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the answers. I can confirm that your system is Nest Thermostat compatible; make sure to follow the correct wiring setup.

Here's your guide:

  • Blue wire (24V common) - C terminal
  • Orange wire (heat pump) - O/B terminal
  • Green wire (fan) - G terminal
  • Yellow wire (cooling) - Y/Y1 terminal
  • White wire (heating) - W/W1 terminal
  • Red wire (power) - R/Rc terminal

Please let me know if you need more help.

Regards,

Mark
