Hello. I have dual fuel system. About 15 years old. Conventional furnace and a heat pump/air-conditioning. The compabilty flow chart sent me here for further guidance. Any help is appreciated. Photo of wiring linked below.

I appreciate all the information you've provided, including the picture. Based on the information, your Nest thermostat will not need a jumper. Also, the S1 and S2 labels aren't necessary to connect to the Nest thermostat. These labels can be used for an indicator or to get sensor information, which the thermostat already has built-in.
