Good morning,
I am wanting to upgrade my current base level Honeywell thermostat to a Nest Learning Thermostat. I have a TRANE unit and the model is: 4TTR7024A1000BA.
The biggest question I have is the wiring setup, as the current thermostat does NOT have a traditional common wire (C) slot, but rather just a "B" wire. I opened the furnace panel and saw that the blue wire that goes into the thermostat is in the B/C slot inside the furnace. Sadly the representative at my local heating and air conditioning store who installed the unit 5 years ago has been incredibly unhelpful.
I currently have the following wires into my honeywell:
R (bridged to RC)
Y
B
W
G
W2
Y2
Any insight that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
