Hello! I live in Florida and our nest has been making the house cold in the mornings. We have it set to 75 during the night but around 4AM the system ran until it was 68 degrees! I checked settings but do not see anything that would cause this. Any ideas?
note: we do have temp sensors and it does read from our bedroom at night, however same thing still applies - it’s making the room temp at least 5+ degrees colder than programmed.

Hello Jdhildreth,
I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you by waking up early in the morning due to the temperature change. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.
If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, please clear all the temperature schedules and turn off the auto-schedule. You can find this here at this link. Also, disable the Home and Away Assist to avoid temperature mode changes.
For the Nest Thermostat 2020 model, check the Routines and remove all thermostat actions available. This might trigger your thermostat for a sudden temperature drop at a specific time.
Please let me know how it goes.
Best,
Mark

Hey there,
No biggie! Thanks for getting back to us, Jdhildreth. Whenever you're available, you can check the steps above in the app itself, so you no longer need to be by your thermostat itself.
If you have more questions, feel free to let me know.
Best,
Mark
