Nest heat link

My nest heat link has stopped working, no lights and no output to the thermostat. I’m an electrical engineer so checked mains supply and all good. I bought the unit over 12 months ago, so do I have to fork out another £188.00.? Anyone had the same problem?

Same problem here. No light, no output power to the thermostat. I tried to restart the heat link (30 sec pushing button) but there was no response. There is power to the boiler / hot water working as before.

Our electricians said this is a problem with about 20% of Nest Heat Links at the moment.  The only fix is to have them come and replace the heat link.  If it's under waranty then Nest will cover all costs

I'm speaking to customer services now. It's looking like a replacement for me. They're being very helpful. Get it done now before it gets really cold!

If you are still under manufacturer warranty (2 years for 3rd generation in uk) contact customer service and they will take care with your issues.

Hi ChristianC. We have a second heatlink on a separate system in the same house. It was installed at the same time as the one that was replaced in October (above) but has now failed in the same way. Can you organise for that to be replaced too please?
