Nest installed and A/C won't blow cold air

Just installed two Nests in our place. The downstairs unit is working fine. But when we installed the upstairs the wiring was completely different than the downstairs (there were two S1/S2 wires in the old Honeywell, that had no place to go) but we followed the Nest directions and it said it was compatible. When we tested it we only had hot air blowing. Any idea what the issue could be and how to correct it?

I appreciate you taking the time to follow the Nest directions to check for compatibility. To help me troubleshoot this issue more effectively, could you please answer the following questions?

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • What type of HVAC system do you have?
  • Do you see any error codes on the screen of the Nest Thermostat?
  • Could you please send a photo of the wiring on your thermostat's backplate?
