My Nest Thermostat was working fine for 2 months and last night all of a sudden got disconnected from Wi-Fi. I did all the troubleshooting steps shown in the Nest app. Even factory reset the device but somehow Nest did not discover the Wi-fi network at all. It stays connected to the Nest app but is not able to discover wi-fi network.
It was also taking some time to show the screen

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Just to check: are you getting any error messages on your Nest thermostat? Have you already tried factory resetting your Nest? If not, here is a link on how to do a restart or reset a Nest thermostat.

Thanks for posting, and I'm sorry to hear that you encountered the same thing with your Nest Thermostat; that is not what we wanted you to experience. Could you also follow the steps I provided above so we can isolate If this is caused by the thermostat itself or the internet connection.

Hello, I am also having the same problem, I followed the steps you listed above but it is still not working. It has been offline for three days now, worked fine since October 2022 with no issues.
