Nest is offline 4 hours wasted

I have two Nests and one went offline 10 days ago. No matter what I tried and 4 hours with Neat on the phone it still is offline. NEST has terrible customer service.

Still happening.  Thermostat goes offline almost all the time.  Sometimes it comes online, but when I change the temperature it actually doesn't do anything when I check the thermostat.

Hey Feedback,

Thanks for the update. I'd like to take a closer look at it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Do you see any messages or codes on your thermostat or in the app? Also, could you please provide the power readout of your thermostat?

You can follow these guide:

Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E:

  1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Look for Technical Info.
  4. Choose Power.

Nest Thermostat 2020:

  1. Open the Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices
  3. Select your thermostat.
  4. Tap Settings .
  5. Go to Device Information.
  6. Look for Battery Voltage.

Regards,

Jenelyn

Hello all,

Just one final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

All the best,
