Nest learning thermostat, 3rd gen., refuses to link with heat link

We've had this item since January last year and it's been working perfectly. Last Saturday we woke up to find no heating.  After searching the help section I found the thermostat was not connected to the heat link. So I tried resetting both thermostat and heat link, but no result.  It now shows 'Manual' but still nothing although the boiler is shown as on. (But no heat at rads)  If I press heat link button once it shows as connected, but its not. My Wi-Fi is working perfectly. Any one any ideas would be gratefully received. Thank you.

Orange light shows on thermostat but boiler not on. Thermostat is the only Google item connected. No codes showing.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out! I'm so sorry to hear about this situation. Could you tell me what the color of the LEDs from the Heat Link is? This might be happening because of various reasons and in situations like this we perform a click test to determine if the issue is related to your thermostat or to another part of your heating system like a valve, wires or with the boiler itself. That being said, please go near your Heat Link and turn the heating on from the app and let me know if you hear a click. You should hear a click when you turn on the heating and another click when you turn it off. Just to make sure that the relay is working properly, please try that 5 or 6 times and let me know if you hear a click at every command.

Have sorted the problem. Fault traced to faulty pump on boiler system. Nest heat link working correctly. Thanks for your help
