Hi, I have a thermostat installed recently on a heating only 2-wire system. The thermostat works but the voltage is low 3.82v as compared to >3.9 with my other setups (with C wire). The thermostat also occasionally gets off-line because of low battery warnings. I am somewhat disappointed as the spec indicates that the thermostat would work with a 2 wire system.
I read about the nest power connector. Would it help in this situation? Does google still offer this power connector for us? Thanks.

Have issues related to shyang339. Recent install. Took a long time to charge. Finally removed from the wall and connected to my computer. I have some other issues so I'm just trying to rule out power. Today: BATT=3.818V, VOC=40.14V, VIN=35.29V, LIN=40MA(I). What are the normal ranges within which these numbers should fall?

I have three other setups with C wire, and the voltage is >3.9

Hello folks,
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your recently installed thermostat on the 2-wire heating system. The lower voltage and occasional offline status due to low battery warnings can indeed be frustrating.
Regarding the Nest Power Connector, it could potentially be a solution to address the low voltage problem. The Nest Power Connector is designed to provide constant power to Nest thermostats in situations where a common (C) wire is not available. You can check its availability at the Google Store.
Let us know if you have questions.
