Nest learning thermostat keeps getting offline

My nest learning thermostat shows that I am offline.  I have tried to charge the battery by connecting thru USB port.  How long do I need to charge it?

I am having the same issues. Haven’t needed to “manually” charge it for two years and about a month or two ago I have had to “manually charge it every week and now every couple of days.
