I had this thermostat installed in my home to help with energy cost. Still trying to figure out how it does that. However, today I went to my phone to raise the airconditing temperature and the app asked me for an entry key. What the heck? I didn't set it up the installer did. I searched for help and found to get the entry key I had to go to the thermostat, and when I got there? Same old stuff everybody seems to complain about and is quickly thread ended. "Already connected". The only way around that is to factory reset the thermostat. IT DID NOT WORK. Still came back already connected. I went back to my phone to see if I could find the entry key in the phone in the data somewhere. It's not there, but suddenly the phone was showing the temps again and was connected. What the ??? If this happens again and I can't reset the dang thermostat to be able to get an entry key What do I do? hit it with a hammer cause I am lost!

For some reason this app did not think it had the thermostat configured and that is why it was asking you for the entry key. Something was not fully registered. However, after you did the reset it appears they did register and the thermostat showed up in your nest app..
