We installed our Nest thermostat a few weeks ago and it has been working as we expected it to. C wire is connected, firmware is up to date.
Today the thermostat will not turn on the AC despite the temperature in our house exceeding the cooling temperature we set the thermostat to. I reduced the temperature on the Nest to 75 from 76 around 6 hours ago and made many small adjustments within the last hour. When the temperature is first changed it provides a countdown from 2:30 before stating that it will be 2+ hours to reach the target temperature. Unfortunately, it never turns on my AC, so the 2+ hour timeline never changes. It is now 86 degrees in my house. The AC unit is fine. How do we correct this???
