I have three of these same thermostats and two haven’t given me any problems. However, one of them has refused to connect to internet for a couple months. And it’s driving me insane. I have tried every troubleshooting tip available on line, and i continue to get the extremely common W5 error, which means I have a fried WiFi chip. After reading posts from three years ago, and recent posts stating the same issue, crazy a company like Google hasn’t fixed this issue by now!

Correct, after a while they refuse to connect to the internet. They say you can still set them manually though! Why would I buy a wifi thermostat is I could set it manually??? No solutions in three years!
