Nest app doesn’t show history. Says no usage but on expanding the bar, usage is seen.
I have two separate nests and both do the same suggesting there is a software glitch. Any awareness of this?

Hey RichT1,
Sorry to hear about this as well as for the delayed response.
Just to confirm, are these two Nest thermostats in question both setup using the same Gmail account? Also, are you checking the usage history using an Android mobile device? If yes, please try this workaround:
Please note that you won't be able to see anything until the next 24 hours if you recently performed a factory data reset on your thermostat.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Melba

Hey everyone,
Thanks for sharing your experiences here in the Google Nest Community.
I'd like to jump in here and check if you're still getting the same issue with the usage history on your Nest Thermostat. We the previous updates, the usage data issue should be fixed by now.
Let us know how it goes by replying this thread.
Regards,
Ryan

Hey JohnnySav,
Thanks for the reply.
Could you check if they're both running the same system firmware?
I hope to hear from you soon.

This just started on my Nest 5 days ago and I’m not sure why since it’s been working perfectly fine.

Hey jonathondozier,
Thanks for posting and sorry for the delay ― let’s see what’s going on.
To confirm, is your Nest Thermostat updated? If not, go to your thermostat’s display, then go to Settings, then Software, then Update. Make sure that your device is connected to the Internet when updating.
Let us know how it goes,
Best,
Mel

No, all good. The version was already updated and then I went ahead and reset the thermostat.

Happy to hear that your issue was resolved and that those steps worked for you! It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.
