I’ve had two nest sensors working fine for the past 2+ years and out of nowhere they stopped connecting completely at the same exact time.
I swapped the batteries, tried bringing them right up to the thermostat (3rd gen learning) and they will not connect. I have even tried deleting them and re-adding them to my account and nothing it working.
Why did my sensors stop working? Was it a bad update? PLEASE FIX THIS.

Thanks for the information. I took the plunge and did the restart. Super easy, wifi automatically connected, and the sensor is now back online! We'll see how long it lasts

It is super easy to reinstall new my password so it wasn't too terribly difficult to find it on xfinity's application the sensors super easy to install I tell you what all they had to do was be relearned they didn't have to be reinstalled or none that crap which made installation a breeze I'm glad you were able to get everything back up and running I wish you the best of luck

If you know anybody who's in the market for a Gen 2 for $75 with brand new hardware from my Gen 3 I'm down to sell it for what I paid for it

Having the same issue, but the battery removal and reset is not working for me.

Hello,
What worked for me is to remove the batteries from the sensors, then instead of resetting the Thermostat I restarted the Thermostat and that worked for me.
