Looking for compatibility with Nest. New house and I have a dual zone system controlled by a damper.
I already own a Nest E and want to buy another for both zones but not sure if I can make the whole system work together.
The U1 wires are what have me confused.
Any help is appreciated.

I have a similar setup with 2 nest thermostats; 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Recently, in May, the downstairs thermostat showed it was cooling the room to 72, but no air was coming out of vents. After 3 hours with Google support the Sr. Tech said I need a C wire.
Where I'm confused is that I have lived here for 2 years and never had an issue. Then suddenly, this happens to me and 2 of my neighbors.
I have 1 unit with 2 zones wired to an HZ322 control panel. The control wire coming in from the condenser is not plugged in, but I'm not sure where to connect it in the equipment side of the panel because nothing is marked C.
My May repot showed I used 251 hours!! My average is around 60-70.
Any advise?

Hi Jumbo115,
Sorry for the late reply here, but I wanted to jump in and help you with your questions about compatibility. With the different Nest thermostat models, some offer different types of compatibility than others, and this article will show you what would work best with your setup: https://bit.ly/3buNFQC. Take a look at the different compatibility options there and let me know if you have any more questions about things.
Thanks,
Jeff
