Nest thermostat has message “continue setup in Google home app”. Removed batteries and reinstalled, no help. Will not connect to my Google home app.

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. I'd love to know more about it: what is the exact message and the code you keep receiving in the Google Home app? Try restarting your phone and remove your Nest Thermostat batteries for at least 3 minutes. Re-install your Google Home app before adding your thermostat to the app. Also, you can visit this support article on how to set up your thermostat.
