Nest thermostat doesn’t show current temperature

Hi,

I’ve had my thermostat 1.4 for  a few weeks it doesn’t update with current room temperature unless I force close the app and reopen it.
Thanks Bob

I use the Nest App, and my app is always in sync. in ECO mode, the coldest ECO setting is shown.

Thanks for the reply; but my thermostat is completely different.  As I said it’s version 1.4. But it’s the app in question. The app doesn’t match the thermostat on current room temperature unless I force close it and reopen it.

may have noted this already; but the thermostat shows accurate info. It’s the App that doesn’t update. My work arounds are force close the app or shut off the HVAC system and restart it. Pictures included.

@Bob66 , I do not know what you are doing wrong. The Home Screen of the Nest app on shows you the primary home outdoor temperature.  When you tap the thermostat it open and shows you the system mode, the current ambient room temperature.  My app stays in sync. Here are my screenshoots of each system mode.

Hi folks,

@BidDad, thanks for the information. The current temperature, or indoor temperature, can be seen in the Google Home app beside Humidity.

Also, Have you checked if the same thing happens with your other device, such as a phone or tablet?

I appreciate your help, @CoolingWizard.

Best,

Zoe
