We're having trouble connecting to the Nest product that's assisting. Make sure that you're close to it, that it's online and that your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. TH013(4096)

reseting the heat link and thermostat multipul times

restarting my router.
turning off and disconnecting all other devices to avoid interference.

Hi Yjj2112,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry that your Nest Thermostat E doesn't connect to your Heat Link. I understand how frustrating this can be. I really appreciate the effort to troubleshoot the situation. Let's work together to find a solution.

Please follow these suggested steps:

  1. Put your phone into airplane mode, then turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
  2. If you have another phone available, use that phone to add the thermostat to your home in the Nest app.
  3. Switch your Wi-Fi connection to a mobile hotspot.

If none of the steps worked. Follow the below steps to manually pair the Nest Thermostat E display to the Heat Link:

  1. From the Nest app, go to Settings, then scroll to the bottom of the list of settings, then select the thermostat, then Heat Link, and then Remove Heat Link.
  2. Remove the Heat Link's cover to reveal the QR code on the inside of the lid covering the wires.
  3. In the Nest app, go to Settings, then Nest settings, and then Add product.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code and add the Heat Link back to the Nest app.
  5. When prompted, select Heat Link is already installed to skip the instructions about installing it on the wall.

Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.

Regards,

Byron
