Hi
i have had a nest thermostat e working in my home for almost a year. It stopped working (nest is switched off but heating is on) so I decided to reset it.
I used the reset to factory settings in the settings menu and since then it won’t re add to my nest app.
now the screen on the nest thermostat is black with a colour Google logo. I have reset it numerous times by holding down the screen for ten seconds, sometimes it connects to my nest app on my iPhone but then when the heat link tries to connect to it to complete setup it always fails.
sometimes there is a phone icon with a home icon in the middle of it too.
