So I just have this Nest thermostat. Setup was fine until it tries to connect to the server. Then it declare that the (wifi) connection has no internet access. Clearly that's not true because I have my phone, PC, TV all connected to the same wifi and they were all online.
My setup has no C-wire, so the AC guy makes the thermostat running on battery power only. I've read somewhere that no C-wire might cause wifi to drop off, but my issue is not about wifi. It was able to connect to the wifi with no issue.
Any idea? Is there a way to ping the NEST server from my PC to verify the connectivity is there?
