Nest thermostat fan schedule

How can I set my fan schedule to run once every two hours for 10 minutes?  I only see options, 15, 30, 45 mins, once every hour. Also, is there a recommendation for setting the fan pertaining to cost efficiency and health standards?

Hi Nestersan,

Thanks for reaching and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

You can only set the run period of your fan for 15, 30, or 45 minutes, or for an entire hour. Choose 60 minutes. Here's your reference about Fan Control settings.

In addition, the longer you run your fan, the more energy it will consume, which may raise your power bill but may help to balance out the temperatures in your home. Also, Your system will operate longer if you run the fan longer; as a result, the air filter replacement may be necessary sooner.

Please let me know if that helps, or if you have more questions in mind.

Thanks,

Mark
