Nest thermostat home away assist does not update eco mode

Hi

My thermostat stays on while away and does not come out of eco mode when returning home. This main feature of the thermostat does not work. 

google support has acknowledged the issue over the phone and said you are working on it. 

what is the ETA for a fix?

Try Samsung Smart Things App as well and set up routines on it, Keeping the Nest app and/or Google Home /SST app set to always on in location settings on your phone.
