Nest thermostat incompatible

I have a nest model G4CVZ and according to the compatibility check my current wiring won’t work. I re moved the jumper as it said, and put the red wire to red on the nest. I put the blue to common. The ac blows hot when I did this. I read that putting the white to o/b would solve that, but it just turns on the fan. No heat or ac. Any suggestions? Thank you

Hi HzrInAz,

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'd like to take a closer look at it. A few questions: what is the make and model of your system? It will help us to identify if you have a heat pump or conventional system. In what country are you located? Could you please take a photo of the wires connected to your system's control board? Ensure that the labels of the wires are visible.

Best,

Jenelyn
