Hi Can1208,
Thanks for reaching out. Since you have a dual fuel system, you will need to have a trained professional set up your thermostat. It’s important for a professional to assess the requirements for your specific dual fuel configuration since choosing incorrect options for a dual fuel system can result in damage to your system. Contact a local pro.
Thanks,
Edward

Thanks for the reply. That does not make much sense, since I installed the older Honeywell dual fuel thermostat myself. If I have to pay a pro installer several hundred dollars to install it, it negates the reason I bought the thermostat - to save on heating and cooling bills.

Hi everyone,
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks,
Mel

Hi Can1208,
Thanks for the response. I understand that you want to save money by installing it yourself but having a Pro to install it will make sure that you're system is configured correctly and prevent damage to your system.
Thanks,
Edward
