Nest thermostat is not following presets any longer

My Nest thermostat is not following my temperature presets.  For example, COMFORT is set to 76 but when the preset's schedule arrives (7am) the thermostat will adjust itself to 75, not 76 not matter what I do. I've restarted, resaved, but it always does the same thing.

It also goes to 75, not 76 when it comes out of ECO mode, even though NONE of my presets are set to 75!

How and why does this device always switch to 75 degrees even though it's NOT ANY of my preset temps?

My thermostat always sets itself to 75 degrees even though none of my presets or preferences call for 75 degrees! Where in the world is it getting this setting from??? I have rebooted and restarted a few times now but there is no change. Any ideas??? Perhaps this is some kind of failure mode?

I was able to get it to work properly again by going to the thermostat and doing a restart, which appears to be what you did.  Good luck!

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum. I understand that this could have caused some inconvenience for you, and I know it's important to keep the temperature consistent. Let's sort this out.

Restarting the Nest Thermostat helped the device refresh when changes were made often. If the restart did not work, please check the Routines in the Google Home app. There might have been a thermostat action created that triggers it to not follow the temperature schedule. Also, have a look at this article on how to change home and away routine settings.
